Outdoor Adventure Staff
Are you a thrill-seeker? Do you enjoy swinging between trees, hiking, and archery? A job as an Outdoor Adventure staff (OA staff) may be for you. Our OA Staff facilitates challenge-by-choice activities for campers 7-16 years of age using our extensive zip line as well as the 15 different high ropes elements. In addition to the ropes course, campers have a chance to learn archery, go on hikes, and enjoy mountain biking on miles of private trails. Staff must be able to guide others safely at all times, while still encouraging campers to get out of their comfort zone. This role provides a great experience for anyone seeking employment in the outdoor education field.
When Outdoor Adventure staff are not instructing in their area of expertise, they work and travel with their assigned bunk group. During these times, the Outdoor Adventure Specialist effectively serves in the role of Cabin Counselor, ensuring the campers’ physical and emotional well-being.
