We are looking for leaders to apply their skills and experience to make the summer successful for our campers and staff.
Group & Division Leaders
Group/Division Leaders are responsible for a division of campers from 2nd grade to 11th grade and their assigned residential staff. This role includes working with our Head Counselors to build meaningful relationships with campers and staff, communicate with parents as needed, and be the primary supervisor for that age division.
Area Directors & Head of Areas/Area Leaders
Area Directors are responsible for overseeing specific program areas across the Creative Arts, Athletics, Waterfront, and Outdoor Adventure areas. Area Directors work with camp leadership to plan and facilitate engaging activities in their area as well as directly supervise the staff who work in their specialty area.
The Head of Area or Area Leader is responsible for direct oversight of a more specific activity area or program, reporting directly to the Are Director. HOAs or Area Leaders must have experience in teaching/coaching/instructing and will help to support and supervise the staff in specific activities.
The Program Director works with Leadership Team to create daily and evening schedules, host outside entertainers, facilitate special events and trips, as well as communicate camp-wide to execute a successful camp schedule.
Working closely with the Director, the Head Counselor functions as the primary leader of a campus of a specific gender/age. The Head Counselor is a guide, manager, motivator, teacher, and coach for a group of campers and staff, and directly supervisors Group/Division Leaders. Head Counselors will connect with family as well as staff members, and are critical members of the camp’s Leadership Team.
