Head Counselors serve as the key leaders of gender/age groups on each campus, supervise each group or division’s leaders, and act as liaisons between staff, leadership, and campers’ parents at home.
Being a Head Counselor is an amazing opportunity that leverages previous professional experience in a role where you’ll work alongside year-round Directors and a phenomenal seasonal leadership team. In this role, you’ll employ strategic thinking and develop mutually respectful relationships with campers, parents, summer staff, and colleagues.
Important to this position’s success is the desire and drive to handle a variety of responsibilities, tackle a wide array of challenges, and contribute to the residential life program (Campus) at camp, working closely with fellow Head Counselors and Directors to manage Group/Division Leaders, cabin staff, and all campers.
We have the following Head Counselor positions: Girls Head Counselor, Boys Head Counselor, and Varsity/LT Head Counselor.
